Swapped exterior Scion emblems with glossy black Toyota emblems. Removed the FR-S emblem.
I'm here in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and trying to find a local shop to install TRD lowering springs. The prices here are insane. I called about 10 shops. The cheapest I got quoted was $602 and highest $815. Ridiculous. Either they don't like this car or installing these springs are more difficult than people have said. I keep reading that it shouldn't take over 3 hours and should cost around $300. Nope. I must be dreaming. These shops insist it's a 6-8 hour job. And a lot of shops won't even do it because it's 'custom' work. I tried to explain to them they these TRD's are designed to work with stock everything, but nope. A lot of them still wont do it.
Called the local Toyota dealership and they quoted me $440! Hah...I couldn't believe that installing at the dealership would be cheaper!
Anybody from Fort Wayne, Indiana vicinity have any insight? Should I just have the dealership install them?
