Don't know about over there but insurance companies here will invalidate your insurance if you change the size of your wheels (rolling circumference) unless you can prove you re-calibrated the speedo. Not to mention the police might be interested.

If you fit larger circumference wheels the speedo under reads. Fit smaller ones and it over reads. By default on stock wheels the speedo under reads by about 10%.
No I didnt recalibrate yet the speedo showed 133 did the math and works out to 137 with the 245/40-18 tires but when I did 155 it was completely stock; speedo read right
