There is no "problem" it is just how the door locks work. You have 30 seconds to use the power lock before it deactivates. After 30 seconds you have to use the manual unlock. You know, this makes absolute sense, but I didn't know this was a thing. I guess I've never sat in a locked car with it turned off long enough to realize that.
