I'm at about +100 whp with the Edelbrock Supercharger.
Technically this is the "cheaper" option as in the short run Superchargers require less maintenance from the get go and as a DD dont require as much. They also tend to be a bit more "bolt on".
But as a few of the other members here have said. It's not as simple as slapping on a kit, getting a tune and you are good to go. You have to think long term.
What kind of stress is it putting on my engine?
Or Clutch?
Transmission?
How do i drive the car already? Hard? Soft and slow?
Will i regret not buying something that could potentially be more powerful?
For me i spent 6000$ on my kit. That is including install, supporting mods and custom tune.
You have to remember there are costs outside of just the kit itself.
