Well it has been a long couple weeks but I finally picked up my M6 Firestorm FR-S yesterday after work. Needless to say I was very excited but I did not get to put many miles on it last night.
We had some nasty weather roll into VA around 9pm and in the span of me running into the grocery store and coming back out crap was blowing everywhere. I was cringing the whole drive home trying to avoid the falling tree branches and dirt blowing sideways across the road. I get home to no power and ran inside frantically to manually open the garage door and pull the car in. Lucky for me I saw no damage to the paint and since the power was out I spent that time inspecting it with my phone flashlight app. While I was lucky I talked to my salesman this morning and his Camry had a branch land on it, about $2000 in damage.
Well I just pulled the car into the garage not long ago and now another storm is rolling in... I expect power to go out again soon.
Pictures from today after cleaning and polishing the paint. I also applied Opti-Coat 2.0 and de-badged the trunk.
