I will be here in IL until May 26, and the tag expires at the end of May. I won't actually reach my next station until about 8 or 9 June. I had read that previously and when I called I got told "lol sucks for you" and was told to go back to TX to get a new copy. I'll try calling again and hope to get someone else.
So what you are saying is that it should be OK to drive a few days with it expired? I'll always have my orders in hand but I'm not sure how much cops will care.
Being enlisted, I'm just trying to save as much money as I can due to the bare-minimum wage we're paid, but if I have to register it here before leaving and re-register in AZ, I will.
