Still, as impressive as the Camaro is in the corners for its size, 2800lbs still feels much better and is more fun (to me) than 3500+lbs.
Maybe in a few years I can get a used 1LE and strip it. But the Camaro still feels damn big, even if it is made lighter. Plus on my local 1.8 mile track, a lot of the HP is not as useable.

The new 1LE has specific suspension tune, Electronic limited slip differential, engine oil, differential and trans cooler, much wider tires and 3.73 gears. It is quite a bit different than the standard SS, and handles like it's on rails. Is it heavy, yeah, but its bigger w/ more power and you can't have eaten your cake and still have it in front of you

, unless you have a couple 100 grand to spend.
