The TSB says to replace the ecu, they will just replace it , most likely without looking any further. You will then need to get the tuner to renew you ecu licience and tune.
However tunes are easy to detect, and unfortunately flashing back to stock with ecutek still leaves the licience in ECU, which alters the CVN (checksum value number) so can still be detected, but they may not look that hard if your lucky.

My luck is so bad, but I'll still be hopeful as you said.
They've scanned and found cam issues and now fuel pump. Since they've scanned it, does that mean that they would've already detected my tune on the ecu or is it a different type of scan they need to look for to detect my tune?
