There is no oil level sensor in the 86. If there were, we probably wouldn't have been issued a dip stick.

That's how it's always been since the 50's and before new-ish ECUs started being installed.
If people are confused by alternate meanings, something is going wrong anyway.

Get a few jugs of oil and a Fumoto quick change valve.
Didn't even know there was a dip stick for this car. When i tried it, I barely got any oil on the stick, there was almost none. Better get an oil change done asap!

How often do you guys check the dip stick?
