That's not a service light.
If that comes on when the engine is running, it means you don't have any oil pressure.
It's warning of immediate self abuse. Shut down now!
There is no oil level sensor in the 86. If there were, we probably wouldn't have been issued a dip stick.

That's how it's always been since the 50's and before new-ish ECUs started being installed.
If people are confused by alternate meanings, something is going wrong anyway.

Get a few jugs of oil and a Fumoto quick change valve.
