Yep. They may all have the same octane but the levels of ethanol can vary. If you read the stickers on the pumps (at least here) it says "
may contain
up to 10% ethanol". I have no clue what the trigger level is but have no doubt that someplace in that range is the concentration that causes chirps at just the right temperature. If cool out I can use whatever I want with no noise but when over about 70 degrees then there are a couple of brands that are 100% guaranteed to wake the little guys up.
