Yup. There is no cat on the midpipe or the muffler sections. The only cats in the system are on the headers and frontpipe. In the diagram, look at the frontpipe, that bulge on the left side is the cat and that square looking thing on the right is a Helmholtz resonator. On the midpipe that bigger section is a resonator. A catback changes piping after the cat, in this case the one on the frontpipe. You will not be replacing anything from the front pipe forward for a catback.
The Perrin has a resonator on the midpipe and it has larger piping and routed a little better. Then the muffler section, smaller then the stock muffler.
