I don't see why the FR-S/BRZ couldn't be your only vehicle. It's not like a motorcycle or convertible. There's seating for 4 in a pinch (excuse the pun). The gas mileage is fine. Reliability and maintenance costs are good especially being a newer car.

It might not be the quietest or most comfortable car, but it'll get the job done for everyday use. And on fun roads or track/autox it'll be more fun than a heavy sports sedan or FWD hot hatch. If you're willing to trade a little refinement to get into a lightweight RWD coupe, it's great.
