If I am running the 75 mm pulley with the sprintek tune in their tablet, do you think that can be obtained with the carb stage 2 tune. It is only 479.00 usd. the ecutek with all the license and tune time I am looking at over 1300.00 usd. If that is only going to make 10 to 15 hp more than the sprintex tuner I am trying to figure out which way to go. I keep reading about the bunny hop and slight hesitation these guys over here keep having with the delicious tune and the moto east tune. With yours running the way you have it tuned in the uk, have yu ever expierenced any of those problems as well or should I just look for a good tunner here in the Atlanta area where I live? I really need your help on this one steve to set my mind at ease please sir. Best regards steve
I'll give my 2c here --

You should be able to come up with an ECUTEK license for $350, and an e-tune from Moto-east for $200-250, or $350 from delicious. If you don't have someone close to you that you can borrow an ECUTEK dongle/USB from (free), then you'd have to purchase the dongle. But you can get one used as well. I will vouch for the moto-east e-tune. The tune on both 93 and E85 is flawless and drives just like stock. I had problems initially, but it was due to a loose bolt that was causing a grounding issue. In terms of the Sprintex 210, I don't think you'll find more experienced tuners than Mike at Moto-East, or the guys at Delicious. Especially at the power level you are going for, an E-tune would be incredibly smooth and straight forward.

I would hesitate to go with a factory type tune (like the sprintex in-house tune), as I'm not sure how many revisions they provide, and the tune won't be optimised for your car -- It will be an off-the-shelf setup (unless i'm misunderstanding correctly). I've not heard many good things about early sprintex/innovate tunes -- If you read the early pages of this thread you can see why I would be hesitant. This isn't to say that things haven't improved however.

Also -- Although you are shooting for 225-230whp, you may find that you want more down the road. I would say that most folks end up pushing for more power as they get used to things. In the event of this happening you'll definitely want a platform like ECUTEK so that you at least have the ability to run different pulleys, tunes, and fuels.

From my point of view, an E-tune makes more sense, with the most expensive situation being about 900-1000 USD.
