Reminds me of back-in-the-day, one hot July day, down in Yuma, Arizona.

My fellow researcher and I (both mechanical experts...) were out in a cotton field preparing to spray an experimental pesticide, when all of a sudden my experimental high pressure spray rig, that I had built, wouldn't maintain pressure. As the temperature was over 105 degrees F, I was getting rather pissed.

All my checks couldn't find what was wrong. About that time, this ol boy pulls up in a beat up pickup truck and tells us we had better get to spraying because he was about to run a lilliston (rolling cultivator) over the area and wasn't going to stop for us.

I had just fired up my rig, which still didn't work, when the ol boy spat out some tobacco and said "it's sucken air" and pointed to a hose under the rig ....... and walked away.

Sure enough, down underneath, a hose had a slit in it and it was "sucken air".

Ya get the moral of that story ??.....
