Well, I, uh..own...a
few. 
And they do tend to hold their value better than most things. But again, the only important collector items are NIB, unfired.
Some years ago, I bought a 1st gen Ruger Vaquero, 45LC, 5 in barrel, thinking I would keep it as a NIB collectible. But after about a month, I decided it would be more fun to shoot it.
