Have you tried lightly polishing it? (Polish not compound).

Although I wonder if the suction cups created enough heat from friction to allow the adhesive to move, or the film to wrinkle slightly - or even the paint itself (this should be highly unlikely). Suntek claims it should heal with ambient engine heat or from the sun, so might just need to wait until it warms up more. If you wanted to risk it I spose you could try a hair dryer on the spot, probably safer than a heat gun. I definitely wouldn't get it too hot though...
