I would suggest starting with a brand - HJC is a good starter brand and you can find their Canadian distributors on this website - call in and ask if they stock Snell M rated or S rated helmets and go from there.

Riders Choice in Mississauga
used to have M and S rated helmets but I am not sure if they do that anymore. They are at Dixie and Queensway in Mississauga.
