I had the magic brake pads also, but that was between different dealerships.
My dad got his Corvette back from a dealership once and noticed that someone had taken a Sharpie and written "Moblie 1 [sic]" on the coolant overflow bottle. He looked into the bottle and realized someone had actually poured some oil into it. The coolant reservoir wasn't low, so they didn't put much in before realizing something was wrong. It doesn't seem to have hurt anything, but the dealership did flush it out, and I think they refunded the cost of the oil change.
