I don't know for sure what the JDM version of the 2JZ had, but they did have different (ceramic) turbos. I think the 1JZ was pretty much exactly at the limit, and if you looked at the manifolds for the turbos, you'd see why. Both the 2JZ and the RB26DETT were probably within 10% (over). Same with the STI, so I'd guess 305bhp or 308 metric horsepower (which is a real, albeit confusing, thing).
