I asked since the stock rims are $400 and the TRD 18" rims are $250 if they would replace my rims the them and put a set of tires on the rims since they are 18's. this would come out to about the same $400 per wheel as just replacing my rims.
Well after about 2 months of working with Toyota and the dealership, they agreed to do this. Since this was not normal warranty work, the did this as a "Good Faith Customer Service". I had to pay up front and then Toyota will reimburse me up to $1900.
Since it was done this way I got the new TRD 18" rims with new tires and I got to keep my stock rims and tires too!!
Toyota made a forever loyal customer. I was always kind and professional as were they. Awesome service!!

I have read that sentence like 10 times but I am struggling with understanding what was the deal the OP has made with the dealer.
Can someone help explain?
