True, but the engines are the same, I couldn't see why they wouldn't accept the Toyota TSB unless liability reasons stop it. Here's the TSB PDF,

check the VIN sequencing. Print out the TSB and take it to the Subaru dealer and see what they say. If it was built at the Gumma plant which all of them were.
Attached is the last TSB specific for the BRZ revised in 2013 for 13-14my BRZ's
Take both and at a time when the chirp is audible, summertime usually, and see what they can do. If it bothers you and the dealer says no, call Subaru.
