I love good action films, but I have never been able to watch one of these all the way through. I end up getting bored and finding something else to do, then losing track of the "story," what little there is to it. I went to see one of them in the theater (I think it was the one set in Japan) and fell asleep.

As far as car films go, give me Vanishing Point, the original Gone in 60 Seconds or Bullitt. If I'm going to watch ridiculous nonsense, I would rather it have H. B. Halicki's twisted sense of humor attached to it. Tough guys and pretty boys posturing over rice rockets don't have anything on the classics.
