Popping sound with TRD springs

2017 86. Just hit 700 miles today

I put on an Invidia N1 without any issues a week ago. Few days later, put on TRD springs with a buddy and the car was doing well. I started noticing a ping/pop noise when entering/exiting driveways, but I thought the springs were settling. A week after that, I still hear the noises. Sounds seemed to be coming from the back of the car.

Reread the Toyota directions and browsed another Google search result and realized it could be because I didn't lower the car before torquing the nuts on the control arm(?). Redid the nuts while the car was on the ground (this time with blue threadlocker because I also forgot that... =| ). Didn't seem to make a difference in the popping sound.

Checked it out with my dad who is an engineer with TMS, and he couldn't figure it out either. He thinks the exhaust is hitting something like the driveshaft or rear diff (he kinda distrusts aftermarket stuff).

Wondering if anyone else had this issue.
