i drained the original fill at 4900 miles an pumped in Subaru 75W-90. per the manual, slightly more rattle from the syncros and similar frustrating cold characteristics.
i will switch to ptx as i use it in another car....which shifts well from cold and it is compatible with yellow metals. 40ish a liter but cost per mile is trivial with normal drain intervals.
