I've done my research and it seems 245/35/18 tires would be good. Im looking for a nice clean flush look like the 17 86 ft86 speedfactory has. I literally just want someone with experience to tell me that sounds right so I'm more comfortable spending around 2400$.

I'm on Tein coilovers lowered 1 1/2 in right now. If you have any suggestions on tires that would be nice to. Thanks
I run a similar setup, 18x8.75 +35 with 245/35/18, lowered about 1", fits perfectly and is about flush (in my case it pokes some mm, but since youre on coilovers you can always correct this with camber if needed) If you need pictures, in my signature is a link to my car journal with alot of them.

Tirewise, 245/35/18 is the "correct" choice. Its near factory diameter and will not "raise" your car or offset your speedo due to a wrong diameter. A 245/40/18 is bigger than factory diameter, therefore "raising" your car and messing up your speedo.
I can NOT confirm the statement about a "rough ride". I'm driving this setup for more than 4 years now on a daily basis, and its more confortable than any lowered car I ever had.

Hope this helps
