Not really, you *can* do it with out lifting the engine. Just takes time, flexibility, the right tools and skinny boney hands. Same amount of time oddly enough.

The fuel filter, eh not too bad just a lot of extra steps to get to it. I have more issues trying to replace a fuel pump on a MR2
