WELCOME .......Chippy ......to posting to the forum .....

I've found that my FR-S is a bit slow for the engine to warm up and even slower for the heater to be able to blow warm air.

In the winter (maybe 35 degrees F) I can drive into town (about 2 miles) and the heater is still blowing cool air. If I stop and do a quick errand and start off again, it seems really warm. I reckon it just likes to heat soak a bit.

As long as warm as eventually comes out of the vents, I reckon your heater is working normally.
