Yes. I had a long list of cars and a couple of trucks, sports cars to luxury performance cars, I was shopping at the same time that have no likely connections and were in the $20K to $70K price range. I typically only buy a new car every 10 years or so as a DD, so I have a rather eclectic way of shopping for one. The list boiled down to these as my top two.

In the end, the FR-S won me over because it just struck the right chords and the rest is history.

Also, with the money I saved between the two I can fund some of my other hobbies, like a good used 4 seater airplane I've been thinking about getting for a while, or maybe a Goldwing, the possibilities are endless.
