I have seen a couple reviews pop up recently on these pads but I wanted to give my input for a daily and STX Prep autocross BRZ. These have been on the car for just about a week but have driven the car every day and have done a single autocross (Cold and Wet event).
Unboxing: The pads look great...well as nice as something like a brake pad can look. Oddly enough, the part I was most impressed with is the shims. I don't know what they are made of but they have an odd feel and texture. They snap on securely and I was told they will be noise free without grease. I am a bit known for over greasing due to loud pads in the past so I highly debated greasing these as well. I held off and decided to follow the directions and install them as they came.
Install: The installation couldn't have been easier but I have done a couple Subaru pad changes in the past with tools crafted in a cave. These slide right into the brackets like any other pad and you will spend more time jacking the car in the air, removing the wheels, taking pictures and leaving a review on the forums than the actual install.
Daily Driving: I drive My BRZ as my main vehicle and so far the pads are working great, I was previously using Hawk HP+'s all last year and had OEM pads for about a week. The Hp+ was a good pad but it was just too loud for daily driving and I was getting tired of the screeching and I hated the OEM pads.
The Cosworth pads have a nice firm feel with strong stopping power but don't bite as hard as the Hawks. For an aggressively driven street car, the Cosworth pads have the perfect amount of stop, are very quiet and so far have had better dust characteristics. These just do a great job. These are also worlds better compared to OEM. I had no confidence in the factory pads and they had to go after just a few days, these are loads better than what came on the car.
Autocross: I had my first event of the year last weekend with Utah region which ended up being a cold and wet event. I can't give a full review on them because of the conditions but they worked out well. I typically use a more bitey pad but think the Cosworth pads will help me be a bit smoother and less pedal staby (which I have a bad habit of doing). Ended up getting 2nd fastest time of day and 4th in pax but there was a smaller crowd due to the weather.
More feedback will come when I can test in more ideal conditions but so far I am extremely happy for the performance for the price and do recommend these as a great street/autocross pad. I imagine they might not be best suited for more serious track days, but that's not their intended use anyway.
