I guess I would be "sending" from my SARB065 lol. Overpriced crap btw, the strap disintegrated in a few weeks and the hour markers have clear imperfections. That said, a Grand Seiko is indeed on my wish list. I really want the Spring Drive, but it feels rather overpriced :/
Like I pointed out, the difference with Porsche and Rolex is that Porsche offers legit performance and quality at a premium price. Everything I have heard about Rolex suggests it does not offer better craftsmanship to justify the price tag. It would be more akin to, I dunno, Mercedes Benz. MB cars feel kind of cheap until you get to the really high end models, and do not have the same level of drivetrain sophistication as similarly priced BMW.
Porsche SUVs might just be upscale Volkwagens but they do offer very sharp styling and a great interior. The sports cars are leagues beyond what BMW can muster. Like I said, what other car manufacturer uses a 72mm stroke engine with four oil scavenge pumps and oil coolers as standard on their cheapest car? If that's not track cred I don't know what is.
