Quite simply, I'm open to the idea that adding additional stress to the engine in the form of a supercharger that it was not designed to accept would add additional stress, thereby making failure more likely. I'm not saying I know how or why, or even pinpointing the most likely areas of failure. I am just saying that I am open to the possibility of it being a factor. To outright deny the possibility of something like this being a factor I think is just close minded.
If someone can prove to me somehow that it is impossible the forced induction could be a factor, I'm all ears.
