Bringing this up from the dead. I just did my first oil change after my JRSC went in.
I also have the oil cooler and originally added an extra quart for the oil cooler. My car barely consumes any oil (61,000 miles so far).
Right before I did my oil change, I took a reading. 1/2 way between the two dots. So I'm thinking that I'm a quart low and that maybe I'm getting more blowby with the JRSC.
I drained 5 1/2 quarts out of the engine and added about 6 1/3 quarts. When I checked the oil, it looked a quart overfilled. Just a little bit over the red line in your picture.
I drove it around the block until the engine was warmed up and checked the oil immediately after I turned the car off. Almost the same reading.
So I jacked up the car again and drained 1/2 quarts using my fumoto valve.
Now I'm about half from your red mark. I just called it a day. I don't think that little extra oil would matter much..
So lets do the math.
I started with 6 3/4 quarts and added 1 quart for the oil cooler.
Drained the oil and took out 5 1/2 quarts
Added back 6 1/3 quarts and drained 1/2 quarts
That leaves me with 8.08 quarts in the engine and I supposedly started with 7 3/4 quarts. Assuming that I have no oil losses, I'm 1/3 quarts overfilled.
My perfectionist side wants to drain another 1/3 quarts now, but I doubt its going to matter, so why bother?
