The HTR Z III's are rated in the Max Performance Summer Category using Tirerack's category system. Look down 3 whole performance categories skipping past Ultra and High Performance to Grand Touring Summer tires which is where you find the Michelin Primacy HP. They also are the best rated and tested the highest for Dry traction in Tirerack's test of "Value" Max Performance tires, and have been highly recommended by many other sources as incredible bang-for-the-buck versus some of the legends in this category of tire. I'm not saying they are the end-all be-all, but they blow the Primacy out of the water when it comes to performance ratings and measurements.
im well aware that treadwear isnt an indexed scale but i think it goes farther than saying the htr is faster because it is in the "max performance" category. its not even like it matters. the htr z III isnt going to close the gap for the brz. how can you say they blow the primacy out of the water? again, you are providing zero facts so support what you say. when i go to tire rack and compare them, the michelin beats the sumi in htr in every single category
