Insurance costs

The March 2017 issue of Consumer Reports has an article about car insurance costs. They rate insurance companies and share strategies for reducing your rates. The number 1 factor influencing your rate is your credit score.

Poor credit will cost you more than having two DUIs.

They also mention that getting married and having kids will reduce your costs. But they do not mention the cost of maintaining a wife, kids, dog and house. Trust me, those costs are waaaay more than the cost of being single dude with expensive car insurance.
