Hi sebgrami and welcome to posting ........
If the fan is not running from time to time, first I'd check the fuse (maybe it's lose) then the connection to the fan motor.
If the fan runs but no air comes out, you may wish to check the cabin air filter. Next would be check to see if a vent control cable is binding ..... like @
Tcoat was getting at.
