Same as above, just figure out the style you prefer and price point you're comfortable with. Then compare what features/quality of life upgrades you want. Personally I find the seats super comfy so dailying isn't an issue for me. I bought the base FRS because I wanted to race it at the track and autocross, so no need for the luxury upgrades. YMMV

EDIT: Just for clarification (and to answer your question), Toyota shutdown Scion, but that doesn't mean the FRS disappeared. It's now a Toyota 86. So the choice between FRS versus BRZ comes down to what creature comforts/style you want.
