TPMS cloning

I'm hoping some of y'all understand this better than I do.

I'm planning to have two sets of wheels for the car: summer and winter. The summers will probably be my autox tires, but I don't think that matters for this. I'd prefer to not just have the sad tire pressure light on in the car for half of the year. After some searching, I found http://clonemytpms.com/ , which I think can (as it says on the tin) make me a duplicate set of sensors. If I do that and then have them mounted in my second set of wheels, am I correct in thinking that I just won't have to worry about it again?

The other option seems to be to have the car paired to the new set of sensors when I swap, or to buy a tool to do that. The tools look like they're not that expensive, but that looks like more hassle than a one time purchase and having it work.

Sorry if this is a duplicate. I think I searched appropriately, but maybe not? Point me in the right direction if so, please
