In order to control the heat issues, I have a few things planned. If anyone has tried, or knows someone, or has some (both accountable and hearsay) data that can help, let me know.
-Ceramic coated header - Keep the heat from down low rising up.
-Wrapped Overpipe and front pipe - ^^
-DEI Reflect-A-Gold on the bottom side of the intake manifold, the intake pipe and box, and possibly the tanks ends of the heat exchange.
-Constructing an aluminum air dam to funnel air to the HE and rad, sealing with the inside of the bumper. This will help keep the pressure from being lost throughout the bumper, and out the wheel wells/etc. I have a chassis mounted front splitter that kind of ditched most of the OEM ducting. (WILL THIS PREVENT AIR FROM GOING TO THE INTAKE?)
I want to be able to push the most from from kit, and seeing as I dont have many other upgrades available with the exception of a 355 or E85 (Not available anywhere near me), I feel like limiting its losses due to heat related issues might be the way to go.

It's only going to heat soak on you if you're tracking it. I have no problems with mine daily driving in South Texas heat. As long as you aren't flooring it through every gear all the time, you will be fine. Some of the things you listed certainly wouldn't hurt though.
