tapping noise which didnt have any performance issue was around 11k miles but brought in the car @ 25k miles before 3 years was up on warranty because it got a lot worse @ idle
@ 11k miles, they said its normal dont worry about it its a subaru.

in the comment the person who uploaded this said he replaced vacuum pump
automatic brz/frs has 2 vacuum pumps, the noise passenger side is exactly where the pump is.
Noise would go away when depressing the brake pedal couple of times(enough to hear air whistling) and the tapping noise goes away
but nope they changed short block and now has problems that never been there lol while still retaining the tapping noise
