Edit, addition: the guys above were talking about the UEL vs EL headers. I know with a twin scroll turbo it's pointless. Assuming the turbo wasn't twin scroll, what kind of performance loss would you be looking at for UEL?
No issues, though being Arizona, it doesn't see rain THAT often. The kit is made with good materials and should not have an issue in rain or snow with hood louvers. I'm not bothered or worried about it (minus the extra dust that comes in, it's a tad annoying).

You'd still have some loss in performance, probably not significant enough to really worry about unless you're racing. I don't really like the boxer rumble, twin scroll efficiency for life !

Different turbos but same concept: http://dsportmag.com/the-tech/twin-s...-great-divide/

Here's a decent comparison from DSport as well: http://dsportmag.com/the-tech/full-r...spirated-fa20/

It's not exactly apples to apples (different dynos, different tuners, etc) and it doesn't have a boost curve on the plot, but it sure looks like the twin scroll turbo (Velox Shop Car) spools quite a bit faster than the single scroll 7163 (DSport shop car).

DSport Single Scroll V-Band 7163, stock engine, 15psi, e85

Velox Twin Scroll 7163, stock engine, 13.5-14psi, E80

Thanks,
