If I am interpreting this correctly, the oil cooler reduction in temperature appears to be balanced against the pressure drop of adding the cooling system?
Or is the interpretation that we are using an imperfect proxy (pressure) as an indication for film strength, thus lower temp oil at the same pressure has better lubrication.
In both 5-30 cases, the pressures seem to be the same albeit at lower temps.
