For those wondering how much the 17x9 +35 weighs....
Used a bathroom scale (bought November 2016). The center cap was mounted on the OE wheel as were some weights from getting the wheel/tire balanced.
For those wondering how much the said size pokes with 245/40 MPSS....
The car has been dropped by -1.2". Rears were 3mm/ .19" higher.
Camber out back was -1.7 with a 1/16" total toe (1/32" per side)
Camber up front was -2.0 with 0 toe.
I'd say that the lip of the wheel is pretty flush. The top of the tires tuck into the fenders. Some people would say that the setting sits flush. I say otherwise. There's a sidewall poke...though the tire treads tuck into the wheel well.
Edit:
My steering wheel was straight when I took the photo so there shouldn't be any more/less poking going on in the shot(s).
