We had about a 1/4 inch of ice on everything when I went to bed at 10 last night. I got up this morning and it was all gone and just pissing normal rain. If the temp hadn't gone up we would have been screwed!
This is the most bizarre winter in my memory since we have had almost no "normal " winter weather and it has been relatively warm. So far this year only 3% of the Great Lakes are frozen over instead of the 40 to 50% they should be by now. So far this year most of our weather has come up from Texas and Louisiana and that has kept us clear. If we get a cold wind out of the north we are going to get buried.
