^^I don't plan on buying the car until it's been out for at least a year, so I can see what complaints and quirks there are.

Only thing I would have to wait on would be suspension mods. Forced Induction can be built pretty easy by a competent company. A piggy back ECU will take some time to develop or you could go the expensive route and get a Universal Standalone (but that is an automatic Emissions fail).


And just for the charts and to clear up HP/TQ figure estimations.

The 2005-2010 Scion tC = 160hp/163tq

The 2011 Scion tC = 180hp/179tq

So, it makes not sense that a "Scion" version of the FT86 would have only 160 or 170hp. Should be at least 180hp (since the best move would be a cross platform borrow from the tC/Camry).
