No worries Stu L Tissimus, like I said in the opening post I was heavily relying on memory. All I'm doing is informing the Australian 86/BRZ community about this issue. I'm not exactly up to date with this topic.
Btw, if it isn't an camshaft/oil valve replacement issue then can you please inform us as to what the problem is? Looks like you know what's going on.
In terms of chirping issue vs idle issue I put them separately under two different bold headings in hope of informing ppl that they may be perhaps two different issues, hope that clears it up.
