Rumours here in Australia says, 2 variants... Non-Turbo (slots in where Celica used to be) $45-$55K AUD. 200hp (147kW) Competition: GTI, Civic Type R, Renault Megane basically the HOT hatches, NOT Subaru branded... (WRX has 195kW, 250+ hp)
So same power output as previous Integra Type R and Nissan Sylvia (S15/200SX) S-Spec Non-Turbo.... The Miata (MX-5) has 130kW (180hp) but its smaller and lighter... the Automatic (AT) RX-8 also has around 150kW (205khp)...

The second variant, is Turbo charge.... probably direct port of the new WRX turbo engine... which puts it at 195kW (250 hp)... which makes it compete with the 370Z, Golf R, Mazda RX-8 (MT), Subaru WRX, Mazda 3 MPS, Subaru WRX STi, EVO X, BMW 135, Audi S3i etc.... but less power than those cars.

The price range?.... close to 370Z, maybe between 60K to 70K AUD.

Again these are from rumours locally and from discussions with fellow people who have heard various rumours around. Sources ranging from Toyota Marketing, Salesmen, Car Magazines... and the web..

But again, those were heard before from Australian sources... just refreshing...
