My dealership here due sale happening in winter thrown in as freebie new winter tires set .. though of some cheap china brand and of rather bad grip even when new. In spring quickly worn them down to thread in two trackdays and bought normal brand/model tires instead for next winter
. It's easy to get by on subpar tires in summer, but prefer to have best avail. for winter. Extra grip really pays off in safety & handling when there is not much grip to begin with due season.
