Toyota (with the help of Yamaha) got 180 bhp out of a 1.8 liter and Honda has definitely been able to get more than 100 hp per liter out of their 2.0 motors. I don't see why not, especially with DI.
A 200 base model and 250+ upgrade (either bigger motor or turbo) would be a good idea for them to consider.
