My BRZ gets looks all the time, and if you mod it cleanly you won't be seen as just another wannabe jap tuner, with their hat on backwards and all. The lovely thing about the twins is that they don't subscribe to any predisposed car cliches or stereotypes; they genuinely just look like cool little cars.

This is so true. I cannot tell you how many people have commented on my car. Just totally random non car people love the BRZ. And the car people all think it is some type of exotic or something.
I don't want status. I want people to look at my car and say it looks cool, but I want the thieves and bad guys to not see it at all because it is a cheap rwd econobox.
